Our festival organiser, Rob has been hard at work, speaking to both local and national brewers about showcasing their beers at our 33rd Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival, and we’re pleased to announce that Grain Brewery, in Norfolk will be joining our beer list.
This Norfolk based brewery, located in Harleston has been brewing since 2006. They have over 12 beers in their range, and two pubs, one in Norwich and one in Ipswich. In fact, Rob first found his love of Grain beers when they took over the Spread Eagle in Ipswich, meaning he is now spoilt for choice whenever he pops in for a visit.
If Rob had to choose a favourite beer of Grain’s, it would be Slate, a smoked porter, which is smooth, rich and creamy and has won numerous awards over the years, including a gold and silver at the SIBA East Independent Beer Awards in 2022. We’re hoping to be able to have this available during the festival.
Keep your eyes on the beer page on our website and also our social media, for details of which beers from Grain Brewery we will be showcasing at the Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival in July.
