Artefact Brewing to showcase beers at Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival

We’re excited to announce that Suffolk brewers Artefact Brewing will showcase not one but FOUR of their beers at the Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival in July.

Our festival organiser Rob is a big fan of Artefact Brewing, having first tried their beers during lockdown. Since then, Rob and Artefact’s head brewer James has released a collaboration brew, The Passion Project, in 2022, and they can often be seen attending events together.

Artefact Brewing, run by James and Kat, is a 1.25bbl brewing based in Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds. They first launched in May 2020 and have been brewing a range of classic traditional styles, as well as pushing the boundaries of modern styles ever since. In fact, they have brewed over 20 different beers, and we’re lucky enough to have FOUR of them on offer at the Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival this July, Ixworth Blonde, Session Pale, Amber haze, and kegs of Hibiscus Blonde.

Artefact has won various awards for its beers, including a bronze award for their Kveik Black IPA at the SIBA National Independent Beer Awards in 2022. We can’t wait to have their beers available during the Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival.

The Ipswich Beer and Cider Festival will run from Thursday 27 July to Sunday 30 June, and tickets are now available to purchase. Choose between day tickets and weekend tickets, and don’t forget, our Early Bird Prices are available until midnight on 30 June 2023.
